SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 01 APRIL 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog
reached the beach at 6-28 p.m.
It was sunny with a cold breeze from the north.
Beach Buoy was wrapped up like an Eskimo.
While a family of three headed down the access ramp in tee shirts.

The beach was far from busy.

They headed south.
The tide was going out but was still well in
The sand was soft and wet, the footprints deep.
Another Dog inspected various dog dug holes for length, breath and depth.

Up ahead three dogs met two dogs.
Five tails wagged.

A man with a found driftwood stick walked the water's edge.
He walked with a swagger as if proud or pleased with his find.
The tee shirt family were up on the dune edge feeling the full blast of the cold air.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed up to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones and patted
THE
stone.
A vapour trail X was out over the bay.

The stack looked grand in the evening light.
"See you mate.

They headed back to the beach.

They wandered back.
They passed a dead Gannet.
It's body has been twisted by the sea, but its head looked intact, as colourful as a living one.
Its head rested on the soft sand facing the sea.
It's still gorgeous eyes seemed to look forlornly out at the bay.

They headed back to the car park as a swarm of hatchbacks rolled into town.

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Bright and breezy today.
(Me and the weather.)
Struck lucky with this B&B
Comfy Bed, Sea view from my room.(If you stand on comfy bed.)
