SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 06 APRIL 2022

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach car park at
6-30 p.m.
The rain had arrived a few minutes earlier.
Like yesterday it didn't amount to much at the time.
A Border Collie came running over.
It's lady owner explained that the dog knew that it was time to go and a Mexican standoff always took place.
The happy black and white dog was tempted to leave by the power of a cheese treat.
A lady with three different coloured dogs headed north up near the dunes.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south near the water's edge.
The tide was well in.
A young couple overtook them as they chose to walk along the strand-line.
An Armarda of clouds set sail for the east in the strong westerly wind.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to
Stubborn Dog Stack.
He had collected five largish stones to add.

"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The rain that had stopped started again.
The two hoods that went down went up once more.
Beach Buoy sat at the front of the stack.
He sat sipping coffee as he listened to the rain hit his mobile tent..aka coat with echoing hood.

A distant 999 siren sounded across the dunes.
Rays of light spread out  like searchlights from a hidden sun as if trying to help with the unknown emergency.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the beach.

For a few brief seconds a partial almost mythical rainbow began to arc across the bay.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the water's edge on the way back.
He drank the last of the coffee as he went.

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
Swapped rooms last night as you know.
Oh my goodness, whoever has the room above
must spend all night dragging furniture around for fun !

 They carried on north..
Flowers from a memorial bouquet were dotted along the edge of the sea.
A man and Begal walked the dune edge.

They headed back to the van.

Sometimes it can be nice to have the wind in your face, other times it can be better to be sat in the shelter that the van offered.
BEACH BUOY.
