Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-39 p.m.
As they headed down the access ramp, a family of nine scanned the nearby sands with four shared metal detectors.
They sounded like The Clangers on an annual outing making their way to the sea.
It had been a warm day but it was a much fresher evening, with a breeze off the sea.
Beach Buoy had opted to wear double hoodies; no coat!
A couple dressed in red overtook a dawdling Beach Buoy and Another Dog.
Half a dozen keep fitters jogged from the dunes and headed south like a human train.
A milky sun that hung over the dunes had invited Beach Buoy and Another Dog's sunshine shadow along for the walk.
Beach Buoy collected some suitable stones before heading to
Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy watched the beach.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
They headed back slowly.
It had been a long day.
The lady with three different coloured dogs was heading south.
Taking the air.
An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.
Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
Been a warm day but turned fresh later.
I was glad of soup and a crusty bun at tea.
BEACH BUOY.
