SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 18, APRIL 2022.

It was the last day off.
It was 6-13 p.m.
Being a Bank Holiday and a Glorious Bank Holiday at that, the car park was still busy.
Teenagers ruled the dunes.
Couples walked the water's edge.

A group of  sand castles with pebble guards on patrol stood near the strand-line.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
The tide had not long turned.

The high tide provided a narrow beach.

Beach Buoy gathered some stack stones.

"Evening Mate."
He placed the stones and patted
THE
stone.

The bay looked beautiful in the evening light.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the narrow strip of sand.

The Sky looked bigger than usual, the sea fuller.

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
Been a fabulous day.
Second part of that canoe man show is on tonight.
Landlady spent most of last night's show
saying
"That's the Headland not Seaton Carew."
Taking a cake round tonight as a thank you.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the van.
Beach Buoy sat and watched the promenade performances.

The buckets and spades still turning up after 7-30 p.m.
The little black dog's first walk.
The arguing couple.
Then setting off at 8p.m. and still needing to wear sunglasses.

 BEACH BUOY.
