SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 16, APRIL, 2022.

Beach Buoy woke and rose at 1 a.m.
He juggled coffee, sharpened pencils and blog updating.

It was 5-56 a.m. when they reached the beach car park.
The tide was more in than it was out.
There was no wind, no breeze
Thankfully, there was air, more importantly it was sea air.
Much of the sky was grey.
It was mild.
Beach Buoy was first at the beach.
As he faffed on, preparing for the beach.
Another car arrived.
The driver didn't faff at all.
Park up.
Out.
Beach.
Speedy and his dog headed off, south, up near the dune edge.
A few sunrise seekers were stood at the water's edge down near the Village Green.
The "Sunrise." took place behind closed doors, invite only.
The 7 a.m. club passed the disappointed sunrise seekers as they headed south.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued South.
The sun finally showed up around twenty minutes late.
Out in the bay, the Wind Turbines stood motionless, not a hint of a breeze.
They stood facing different directions each hoping to be the first to feel the wind's breath on their blades.
The speedy dune edge man and his Spaniel had headed back on smooth wet sand.
Another Dog sniffed at each of the Spaniel's paw prints.
Beach Buoy collected some suitable stones, then headed up the sandy slope.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy watched as three large Gulls twisted and turned as they all chased a much smaller bird who have managed to find breakfast.
Beach Buoy heard Geese.
He readied his phone camera.

He took a few photographs as the birds headed out to sea.

They all turned north, passing the sun as they did so.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the beach.
"See you mate."

They settled on a spot down on the beach just in front of the stack.
Coffee time.
The tide was going out.
They could wait here until they had beach access to Sand Martin Corner.
After a short while access was granted, they continued south.

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
Fish shop queues were massive yesterday.
Place was packed.
There was an argument at the Bouncy Castle as the prices have gone right up.
The owner blamed inflation.

The Sand Martin Ballet danced as the Skylark Orchestra played on.

The Sun dressed up as the Moon as it was veiled by partial cloud and faint mist.

They headed back.

Once more Sea Pottery gave a hint but no more.

They headed back to the van.
The lady who walks with her dog, checking parking meters for returned coins had returned to the car park.
No change there then.

BEACH BUOY.
