SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 17, APRIL, 2022.

There was a bit of a fun day taking place at the nearby Cricket Club.
As Beach Buoy locked the front door to head for the beach, a live version of Brimful of Asha drifted down the street.
For a brief moment it felt like the start of
BEACH BUOY
THE
MOVIE.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog drove the short distance to the beach.
They arrived at 6-43 p.m.
The golf club flag was still at half mast
It fluttered in the strong south east breeze.

A found but lost baseball cap had been placed on the back of a promenade bench for the owner to claim.
It's peak rose and fell in the breeze.

It had been a sunny day and still was now.
A family made use of the breeze as they flew a kite.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

A young lady overtook them.
She looked like she was having a
"Just had an argument."
type of walk
rather than
an enjoyable one.
Her arms were folded.

Beach Buoy gathered a few stones for
Stubborn Dog Stack.

Another new stack stone had appeared since this morning's visit.
Lovely.

Beach Buoy added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy scanned the Bay.

A man in a flamboyant hat walked the water's edge.
He stopped to look at the sea, directly opposite the stack.
The man, who reminded Beach Buoy of Elvis Costello for some reason, headed south for a short distance.
His beach progress was halted by the tide.
"Elvis." headed back .

Beach Buoy paused to leave a gap.
He didn't want it to look like
Oliver's Army were on their way.

After a while...
"See you mate."
As Beach Buoy  left, he was so pleased to see then hear a Skylark take to the air and sing Stubborn Dog a lullaby.
"Sleep well Stubborn Dog."

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
That canoe man thing is on TV tonight.
The landlady has offered to let me watch it with them.
Hope that she doesn't spoil it with a running commentary!
Taking two bottles of wine
One red.
One white.
Not sure which goes best with crisps?
