SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 23, APRIL 2022 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Beach Buoy woke at 4-08 a.m.
It was 5-25 when he and Another Dog passed the car park Gulls.

The moon hung over the dunes.
Gulls hung in the wind off the sea.
Beach Buoy pulled up three hoods.
That wind was fresh!

There was cloud to the north,
 over The Headland.
The sky to the south was mainly clear.

They walked to the water's edge.
The wind was bracing, the beach was theirs.
The moon looked down, making notes should confirmation be required.
As they stood waiting for the sunrise, Beach Buoy picked his little companion up.
The sun rose.

Beach Buoy can take or leave alcohol drinks, but this sunrise can be addictive.

The tide was a fair way out but was on the way back in.

The Land Rover Border Collie Couple had arrived, they headed north.

Beach Buoy wanted to see every sunrise, every sunset too.

From the Moon to the Sun.

Gulls drifted by.
The Sun rose like the giant helium balloon that it is.
Well 27.1% of it is.

The Sea Serpent Marker.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed towards the dunes.
A strand-line crow had a stand off with Another Dog, the crow won.
Beach Buoy collected some beach stones before heading up to the stack.

"Morning Mate."
He added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The distant wave lady and her friend were too distant to engage in a distant wave .
If Beach Buoy was to instigate a wave it may look like a call for help.
Like that old TV add with a sailing dinghy.
"Call 999 and ask for the coastguard."

They had a sit and think on the dune edge.
There was some shelter from the wind but no coffee!

But thankfully the dog treats were on tap.

They headed down to the beach and it's shingle.
A sea pottery find.
Keeling & Co.
Burslem

They began a slow walk back at the water's edge.
A man marched by in boots and shorts.
He turned as he sped passed.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy stopped.
He looked out to sea.
He closed his eyes.
He imagined a different beach, different surroundings, a different situation and a different scenario.
He could see it his mind's eye.
Smell it.
Taste it on his lips.

They headed back to the van as another man stood facing the sea, possibly closing his eyes and imaging......

Van coffee .
Beach took some rubbish to the promenade bin.
The promenade looked delightful.

The promenade.

The roof of the water treatment plant shone like gold.
They headed off.

A new book had arrived.
They say the writing is exceptional.

Beach Buoy washed and waxed the van... again.

BEACH BUOY.
