SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 12 APRIL 2022.

Beach Buoy woke at 2-17 a.m.
By 3 a pan of milk was on the boil.
By 4-20 Another Dog was barking at her own reflection in the window.
By 5-57 a.m. Beach Buoy and Another Dog were in the beach car park.
5-58 a red car pulled up
Two stepped out of the car in swimming costumes with towels over their shoulders.
5-59 two climbed back into the car upon seeing how far out the tide was out.
They drove off, presumably to opposite the village green?
The sea was closer there.
6 a.m. the distant wave lady arrived and headed down the access ramp with Hugo in hot pursuit.
6-03 a.m.
Once the dust had settled , Beach Buoy and Another Dog finally set off.

It was a damp grey morning with wind off the sea.

12 APRIL 2022.
It was a dark and dismal start,
To a dark and dismal day,
A dark and dismal sea,
The sky, a dark and dismal grey.

The 7 a.m. club were way off in the distance.
They caught up as Beach Buoy ambles along.
The very very wet brown Retriever came running up.
It wanted a ball.
The last two mornings Beach Buoy had supplied a beach found ball for the friendly dog from his beach bag.
No ball today.
The big dog ran off and back five or six times to check.
On the last visit it actually had a ball in its mouth and stood there like a second rate ventriloquist almost saying
"Gis gis got gye granted."
(This is what l wanted.)

Geach Guoy ... Sorry !

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
He added stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He drank coffee.

The 7 a.m. club and distant wave lady were all distant now.
Some off to work.
Some off for a sea swim.
Some off on holiday.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the beach then south.

They began a slow walk back.
They met Alfie the dog with lovely owner, Mr. Gunn/ Nunn.
They chatted briefly before going there own ways.

Time to reflect.

Gull travelled the water's edge in silence as melodic Skylarks serenaded the dunes.

Coming and going.

An imagined Post Card from Seaton Carew.

Having a lovely time.
Wish you were here.
Still feeling a bit of a wreck.
B&B have had a Easter cancellation.
I have took the booking and will spend Easter here now.

The Seaton Carew Wreck.

A sea of sand.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the van.

 Breakfast at Newburn Bridge.
Even the bright yellow wind turbine service boat struggles to shine today.
