Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-29 p.m.
It was cold with a strong breeze from the north east.
There was only half a dozen cars in the beach car park.
A couple walked north on the water's edge.
Their Border Collie dashed here and there.
It kept returning to the couple as if to say.
"Did you really forget to bring the ball?"
They had ...
It had rained quite heavily much of the day, so to be honest a beach walk had been in doubt.
The rain had stopped.
The tide was well in but the sea wanted more beach.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
To the north a sandy coloured dog ran along sandy coloured beach.
A lone male beach walker approached from the south.
The walker veered off towards the dunes and was gone, swinging a Driftwood stick as he went.
Once more, the south end of the beach was theirs.
They continued along a scalloped water's edge.
Grey waves edged with white lace foam folded and curled out in the bay.
Sorrow the Magpie flew north before landing on the beach with a Ta dah.
Beach Buoy collected four beach stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Evening Mate."
He placed the beach stones carefully on the stack.
Beach Buoy looked across the bay.
The sun decided to make an appearance.
Atmospheric light filled the sky to the west.
The sunlight extended out into the bay.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the beach.
The beach sloped steeply to the sea.
Beach Buoy stood close to water's edge.
The slope of the beach was such that the horizon disappeared from view.
Just the very top of the sea serpent marker was visible.
On a sun starved day, the late evening sun was as beautiful as it was welcome.
They headed back towards the van.
As they did so, rainfall could be seen falling to earth and sea.
Beach Buoy climbed the dune edge in order to try and capture rainfall above the village.
