Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-52 p.m.
It was overcast.
There was a breeze from the east.
It wasn't too cold, but then again it wasn't very warm for mid-July.
The tide was way out.
The sound of Little Terns filled the air.
A dad pulled a quad bike with a rope.
A lady with bright strawberry blonde sat up on the dune edge.
She was sat on her legs or maybe she was a mermaid waiting for the sea to return?
A Kestrel hovered over the dunes.
It and Beach Buoy were heading south.
It stayed alongside for around ten minutes, as far as The Big Slope.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy dropped down into the dunes via The Big Slope.
The dunes felt warm.
It wasn't just that it gave some shelter, the dunes seemed to have held the day's heat?
They walked the "easy" route.
Down on the beach below a Bemused Corgi sat looking up, watching their progress to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Evening Mate.'
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He sipped fizzy water.
A young lady walked the water's edge with two young German Shepherds.
Another Lady headed south.
She had six black and one white Poodle for company.
They looked clouds.
A seven day forecast.
They returned to the beach below.
They ambled northwards.
A man marched south as though he was heading for a confrontation.
BEACH BUOY.
