SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

She was dreaming that she was awake.

Thanks to Stan Laurel.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 30 JUNE 2024

Beach Buoy headed to the beach alone.

Another Dog was having none of it.

She was sound asleep.

It was 6-07 when Beach Buoy's boots touched sand.

There were some unusual contours in the sand.

He headed south as the 4x4 Border Collie Couple returned to the car park.

Just a sunshine shadow for company.

A little slope
Becomes a big slope.
A stream
Becomes a River
An argument
Becomes a war.

He continued southwards.
Three ships left the river behind.
It always seems odd them leaving on such a low tide.
The channel must be very deep?

A Sand Martin swooped, almost tapping Beach Buoy on the shoulder.
As if to say.
"Where's your mate at today?"

Beach Buoy walked the "easy" route.
It was starting to become a little more overgrown as Dune Grasses reached out for the Sun.
It was too late, it was already beginning to do shorter sweeps.
Heading for another season.

6-38.
"Morning Mate."
He added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He drank coffee as he sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
Skylarks sang.
You never know when the song will be the last song
They don't say goodbye.
They just fall silent and leave.

The three almost identical ships that left the river took an almost identical route.

Two more ships took aim at the river mouth to replace them.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy decided to continue South along the dune edge.

Plants bloom at the south end the dunes.
The long underground fingers of Sea Buckthorn have yet to reach this far.

Beach Buoy stepped down onto the beach below.
His hayfever had kicked off big time.
He felt as if he had been pepper sprayed

Beach Buoy spotted an orange plastic bottle.
He went out of his way to beach clean it.
A sea alley was nearby.
Like a thank you from the beach.
It's odd how many times this seems to happen.

North Gare Pier and The Tank Traps from Sand Martin Corner.

Slow walk back.

The man who once had a Beagle but now has a Spaniel walked the length of the beach with him.

They chatted as they walked.

BIKE RIDE TO MARINA AND BACK.

Just a bike ride.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

LOOKING FOR AN EASIER ROUTE.

(Aren't we all ? )

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 29, JUNE 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-55 a.m.
A man sat on the
"Sand out of shoes bench ."
at the top of the beach access ramp.
He was throwing a ball for his little dog to chase down the ramp.

A beach supergroup headed for the ramp, ready to leave the beach together.
7 a.m. club.
Scruffy and Mam.
Purdy and Mam.
Team one black ear.
All exchanged greetings with Beach Buoy.

Beach Buoy headed out onto the beach.

There was a breeze from the south west.

Spots of rain began to fall.

Beach Buoy walked the strand-line.
The lady who walks the length of the beach, did so at the water's edge.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-20.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The rain that had hardly started had almost stopped.

He sat on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He drank coffee.

Rafting Gulls rose from the sea.
They headed across the dunes.

"See you mate."

Team three dogs were heading through the dunes along the "easy" route.
The owners passed to chat as they passed.
They went their separate ways

Team Muzzled Dog passed by too.
They chatted briefly.

Out in the depths of the dunes, two hoods looked like wish they had chosen an easier route.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach.

Three men stood in the sea.
Three heads and shoulders chatted.

He paused to chat to Mr.Gunn/ Lunn.

Beach Buoy headed to the van.

Just in time.
The rain came.

JUST OUT AND ABOUT. . 28 JUNE 2024.

In Town.

Because Because Because.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 28, JUNE 2024.

Beach Buoy set off for the beach at 6-20 a.m.
That's the time he leaves the house on workdays.
Sometimes he passes workmates driving on their way to work.
The beach seems even sweeter on those days.
He parked up.
The lady who once fell off her bike, headed along The Esplanade.
"Morning."
"Morning."

The tractor that removes stones from the north end of the beach and dumps them to the south drove along the water's edge.

Clouds over the village.

The Tractor tyre tracks.

Beach Buoy likes the tyre tracks.
The thing is though, he feels obliged to walk between them as if they were a footpath.

Today, it reminded him of The Yellow Brick Road.

Something spooked Another Dog.
She seemed to become two inches, both lower and longer.
Beach Buoy reassured her.

They walked the "easy" route.

6-53.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy sat drinking coffee on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.
Another Dog was on guard duty.

Down on the beach below, the lady who walks the length of the beach did so once more.

Beach Buoy pulled up his one hood as protection against the dune to sea wind.

The unheard factory buzzer went at 7 a.m.

Gulls took flight from the sea.
They headed inland to the local tip.
Another shift begins.

On the beach, the tractor made another delivery of stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

A Sand  Martin flew by.
It's flight path resembled a Doctor's signature.

"See you mate."

They headed back along the dune edge.
A jogger was heading in the other direction, making hard work of the "easy" route.
Beach Buoy stood to one side at a natural passing point and waited.
"Thank you."
"No bother mate."
They went their separate ways at their own separate speeds.

Up near the top of The Big Slope.
A man and his Border Collie were returning to the beach from another route through the dunes.
"She's no bother mate.
She ignores other dogs."
She did too.

Beach Buoy let the man and his Collie take the lead.

The man with three dogs who used to have four walked by.
His dogs follow him like train carriages.
"Morning."
"Alright?"
"Yes. You?"
"Yes, this is a better temperature to be walking around in."

Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
"Morning."
"Hiya."
"Morning."
"Morning."

Which path to follow?

The wind dropped.
The tide went out.

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 27, JUNE 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived
at 7-45 p.m.

It was bright and blowy.

Just a walk the water's edge...
and back. .

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 26 JUNE 2024

Beach Buoy had been suffering with hayfever and leg pain.

Some recent beach visits had just been short walks.

They weren't going to come to the beach at all this evening.

Beach Buoy buckled in the end.

It had been the hottest day off the year.

He needed the sea.

The heat must have got to his head?

He was wearing shorts!

🤡😱

A high tide was heading out.
A lovely cooling breeze blew across the sea.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

Others were heading north, back to the car park.

The Stack didn't feel as far away tonight.
To be honest it's no great distance when you are feeling o.k.
In no time at all they were at the big slope.

Top of the big slope, looking north towards Seaton Carew.
"The jewel in Hartlepool's Crown."

They set off along the "easy" route.

"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added some stones.
It was 8-44.
This visit felt like a bit of a bonus, as Beach Buoy wasn't sure if they make it or not.
That lovely cool breeze off the sea certainly helped.

He went to sit on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.

SCUMBAG!
Some low life thought it was acceptable to leave their **** .
It wasn't.

The Little Terns had been vocal upon their arrival.
The Skylarks and Sand Martins seemed to have bedded down for the night?

Down by the sea, a Lone Magpie flew hurriedly northwards as though keen to catch the last bus home.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back along the easy route.

The Sun was becoming lower in the sky.

They returned to the beach.

A Kestrel searched for some supper.

Slow walk back.

A couple of Sand Martins did appear after all.

If only to escort them off the beach.
