Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-48 p.m.
The wind blew from the north.
The tide was high.
The sea was rough.
It was one of those seas that would run and run as it came to shore.
It felt more like Kate October, not early June.
Sea Pottery.
Beach Buoy paused at the top of the big slope.
He looked to the beach below.
As they walked the "easy" route, rain began to fall.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 7-16.
Beach Buoy sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He drank some coffee.
Then it was
"See you mate."
They headed back.
On the golf course, golfers played on in the rain.
Large colourful umbrellas shielding them, like giant flowers.
Back to the beach.
A slow walk back in the rain.
BEACH BUOY.
