22 JUNE 2024. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived

at 7-10 a.m.

As they headed for the access ramp, Team Muzzled Dog passed by.

"Morning."

"Morning."

"Hiya."

They led the way to the beach.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog followed at a slower pace.

Beach Buoy was struggling with leg and back pain.

He had wondered if he should come at all.

They went to the strand-line.

Beach Buoy thought about calling it a day there and then.

He turned to see that the two ladies with the German Shepherd that has gone for Another Dog previously, had joined the beach.

The dog was off the lead.

Great.

He let them head south.

Eventually he decided to continue the walk.

It was a struggle up the Big Slope.

Another Dog wasn't helping, being as she was in full Stubborn Dog mode.

The "easy" route.
Probably not the best place to be.
Grass Pollen was making Beach Buoy's hayfever a pain.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-45.
Beach Buoy added three stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.

He sipped water.
No coffee this morning.

"See you mate "

They headed to the beach.

Very slow walk back.

Team Mick Aston Jumper walked the low dune edges.
