Monday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog were on the beach by 6-18 p.m.
There was a mild wind from the southwest.
A couple walked the water's edge with three Whippets, all different colours.
Soft dry sand crossed the beach from dune to sea in the wind.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog crossed the beach from north to south.
A 999 seafront siren twirled around the beach in the blustery air.
Lots of

Beach stones in hand ; nine.
Beach Buoy reached
Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Evening Mate."
He added the stones.

By 7-04 p.m.
It was
"See you mate ."
They slid back to the beach from the dunes.
There was next to no one on the beach.
That's who kept them company for the walk back.
No one.
Beach Buoy made a milky coffee in the van.
It was always a treat as a kid.
It was still pretty special.
