SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 05 MAY, 2023

It was Polling Day.
Beach Buoy voted on the way to the beach.
It was 6-24 p.m. by the time they reached the beach.

It was very mild, almost muggy.
It was overcast but in places, the sunlight broke through.
They headed for the sea
Distant ships dotted the horizon.
Man in shorts headed to the promenade from the water's edge.
He was looking at his phone as he did so.
He was holding it as if he was worried that it was about to explode.

Two ladies walked their dogs.
The dogs ran over.
They were all friendly.
One in particular ; Marlow, just wanted to stay with Beach Buoy.

The Sea Serpent enjoyed the air.
Beach Buoy gathered some beach stones.
He headed to the stack.

He clambered up the sandy slope into the dunes.
He looked over towards Stubborn Dog.
There was a man who seemed to be looking at the stack?
Beach Buoy dropped his stones onto the dunes.
He would wait.
He waited.
He took a photograph of the sun's rays

He waited.
He took a photograph to the North.

Beach Buoy gathered up the stones that he had dropped onto the dunes.

In transpired that the man and his mate were just south of the stack.
They were lighting a campfire.

Unperturbed by the presence of the two strangers, Beach Buoy added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Evening Mate."

He had brought coffee and was going to drink it.
He headed down to the beach, just in front of the stack and the two strangers.

He sat on a beach stone.
Coffee drank, they began to head back.

They walked the water's edge as a ship left the River.
They met a couple with two dogs.
All were friendly.
One of the dogs; Bailey, was wanting to Beach Buoy's new best mate.
Marlow had competition.

They headed back to the van.

BEACH BUOY.
