MONDAY 30 MAY 2022 SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-49 a.m.
It felt late after a run of early beaches.
It had rained overnight.
The heavily waxed van looked like it had been covered in bubble wrap.
Thanks to the rain, the air felt clear.
There was a slight breeze from the west.

The height of the tide seemed to be around 50-50.

The sea itself, seemed to still be angry from winds on previous days.
It roared on a otherwise calm morning.
The sun was already high in the sky as it tried to break through  dappled cloud to the south of the bay.
A Gull flew low but overhead.
It laughed like Gulls do as it did so.
Around six miles away, a factory buzzer buzzed for a 7 a.m.m start.
Not for Beach Buoy's ears today or the remainder of the week.

There was one person and a dog to the south.
The sun broke through, the choppy sea sparkled.
The person and their dog approached.
Beach Buoy had mistakenly presumed that the person was a man.
The lady's dog was small and yappie.
It would come close then run off doing zoomies repeatedly.
They chatted briefly.
They went their separate ways.
The lady and Lucas, the zoomy dog headed north, Beach Buoy and Another Dog, south.
Skylarks to the west sang "Come to the dunes.'

They climbed the sandy slope at 7-27 a.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Morning Mate."

They sat at the stack.

Beach Buoy drank coffee.
The view was excellent.

Eventually it was time to go.
"See you mate."

They headed back to the beach as the Sun's light and heat increased.

An old glass bottle stopper shone like a gemstone in the early morning light.

They did their slow walk back.
Way off to the north, sea swimmers entered the sea.
The Village Church Bells rang for 8 a.m.

BEACH BUOY.
