NORTH SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 12, MAY 2022.

It was Ruby's Birthday.
A.k.a Another Dog.
Beach Buoy wanted to give her a beach for her.
They went to North Sands, Hartlepool.
They arrived at 5 p.m.
Around the same time as a Police Helicopter.
They parked up at the north end of the promenade, near the turning circle.

The sun was bright.
They headed north under the watchful eye of the Police Helicopter.
Someone did point out the Crocodile Cloud that Beach Buoy hadn't noticed.

The was a vast stretch of sea coal.
Not just sand sized pieces, plenty of larger pieces too.

A float adrift.

A young couple beachcombed nearby, on the strand line.
Skylarks sang above the steep sandy bank to the west.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued north.
Crimdon lies ahead through the gap.

The Pier was a sitting duck for photography.

They passed old timbers.

Beach Buoy faffed with photograph filters.

Out to sea.

The ageing structure gives many pleasing angles.

Vanishing point.
Let's all run to the sea.

Luckily the tide was a fair way out.

New houses.
Old Pier.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog climbed up the steep bank to the west.

They stood just on front of Spoon Kop cemetery.
The cemetery and the Pier had featured in the closing scenes of an episode of the T V show; Vera.

Warning Signs.

Information Stone.

"No more Sea "

Beach Buoy and Another Dog travelled back north by the English Coastal Path up on the bank top.
Down at the water's edge, a fisherman made himself comfortable.

After a short walk they were back at the turning circle, the van too.
