Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived
at 6-26 p.m.
They had came straight from North Sands over on Hartlepool Headland.
They had brought tea.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog shared the "Party" tea.
As they did so, a gathering of Pug owners began to assemble on the promenade.
It was 7-10 by the time they set foot on the beach.
Soft wind-blown sand had been blown onto the wet tidal sand.
It crunched slightly underfoot as night fallen snow does once chilled with frost.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south, closer to the strand-line than the water's edge.
A man on a mission and a dog on a lead both marched north as one.
The yellow coat lady and her two monochrome dogs wandered more aimlessly, like free spirits.
Up ahead, the Pug owners headed back north.
The Pug owners soon passed like a line of washing, put out to dry.
Beach Buoy gathered six beach stones before heading up to Stubborn Dog Stack.
He placed the stones.
"Evening Mate "
He patted
THE
stone.
The Birthday girl enjoyed the air.
"See you mate "
They wandered and wieved their way back to the van and reality.
BEACH BUOY.
