SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, SATURDAY 07 MAY, 2022.

Beach Buoy woke at 4-44 a.m.
The venitian blind was very slightly open.
It looked grey out there?
He looked at the blind once more as he wondered how to make them.
He shuffled downstairs before making a Thermal flask for the beach trip.
They passed the Golf Club at 5-07 a.m.
The golf course lads were already cutting the grass.
It must have been them who had raised last night's half mast flag to full height once more?
Start of morning.
End of mourning.

They headed for the sea as
 "Sunrise."
 approached.
It stayed in view for around six minutes, like a crack in the venitian blinds before slipping into the grey blanket of cloud.

It was a grey start to the day.

They headed south.
The beach was a little wider than it had been of late.
Three Tugs waited just beyond the river mouth for an approaching ship.
They are like Maritime Chuckle Brothers.
" To me.".
"To you."

Recent Bits and Bobs.

Beach Buoy gathered some beach stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
He added the stones and a handful of shingle, for the gaps.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on a large stack stone.
It was Coffee time once more.
Gulls headed north slowly.
One gull whipped back to the south at speed as though it had just realised that it hadn't locked the front door.

Coffee drank.
Daydreaming done.. for now at least.
"See you mate."

Back on the beach.
Beach Buoy stopped to talk a one man , three dog, 7 a.m. club.
They shared beach stories as Beach Buoy made a fuss of Mari the large friendly poodle.
"See you "
"Bye. "

Beach Buoy climbed up to the dunes, to allow someone to have the water's edge to themselves.
He headed back to the van.
Kettle on.
Spotty teacake in progress on the camping toaster.

 Rear Window.
Coffee, teacake and a nap in the van.

BEACH BUOY.
