SEATON SANDS.03 SEPT 2019.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog had reached the car park at 6-20 pm
By the time they reached the water's edge the Church Bells were ringing for 6-30.
Droplets of water seemed to be hanging in the air, just drifting in the wind.
It seemed to lack the commitment to become full blown rain?

Despite the strong wind and the stormy looking clouds, the sea was calm.
The tide was high.
They headed south, with the sea lapping at their left hand side as they walked.

Out at sea, on the horizon, rain was falling into the sea at an angle of 45 degrees.

The clouds were fantastic.
Some had their tops lit up by the Sun as it broke through in small breaks in the cloud cover.

Beach Buoy stood for a while at the Sea Serpent and looked out to sea.
The hint of sunlight made the lighthouse on South Gare Pier glow. It's white paint in complete contrast to the natural colours of the day that formed a backdrop of dark blues and grey.
