SEATON SANDS AND NORTH GARE BEACH 17 09 19.

Scatter-cash Beach Buoy decided to go the Beach a little earlier today, so had to pay to park; it was 4-45 pm.
It is free after 6 and also in the winter months.
Gulls squatted flat on the warm tarmac of the Car Park, sheltering from the strong coming from the sea.
As Beach Buoy readied for the beach he realised that he hadn't brought his beach book, in which he scribbles his notes for his blog.
Beach Buoy being Beach Buoy had a spare one locked up the glove box of the van, along with a packet of  REAL Midget Gems that had been forgotten about.
A Beach Bag full of book and a mouthful of sweets and they were off.
For the record Beach Buoy wasn't Beach Buoy yesterday, when he hadn't brought Stubborn Dog's Lead and harness; back to base camp it was.....

They paused at the Promenade Wall.
Stubborn Dog's ears flapped  in the wind.
It was a sky blue sky and a dark blue sea.
White horses galloped across the bay.
A family came up the Beach Ramp whilst having an Ice Cream discussion.
Once the route was clear Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog  went down the ramp as people sat in cars and seemed to watch them descend.

They walked the water's edge, admiring the roaring sea.
A slobbering dog came running over.
Beach Buoy picked up Stubborn Dog.
The slobbering dog returned return to it's owner.
What it is they say about owners and their dogs?
Stubborn Dog seemed happy to be picked up.
The Little Dog looked out to sea intently.
Beach Buoy could feel the little dogs body take long deep breaths of fresh sea air as if recalling a past life.
The sea was rough.
The horizon seemed to be a badly drawn line.
It would be high tide soon, the sea hadn't quite decided just where the strand line would be tonight.

They went to have a look at the river and the Blue Lagoon.

From the North Gare Pier they had a good view of the magnificent North Sea.

Waves came across the Bay and hit the North Gare Pier then rebounded and headed off to the beach.

Like the gentleman and his dog above.
they headed back via the dunes then down to the beach.

As they walked back through the dunes, a small black bird seemed to be guiding them.
It wasn't a Blackbird, just an unusual Bird that was black.
The bird made a "Peep, Peep , Peep." sound as it lead them through the dunes. Like you see sometimes in films where an animal of some sort helps the humans to escape or to find what they are looking for.
Maybe U2 shroud employ one?

The spray from the Rough Sea hung in the air like net curtains on a long washing line.
A Jogger had already gone by when another appeared.
Beach Buy checked the time
6pm
aka Jogger o'clock.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog rested on the Promenade Wall as they tend to do more and more often.
There was a running group event taking place as it seems to do most tuesday nights.
The Sea Roared to the front, the sound of trainers hitting the promenade came from the back.
BEACH BUOY.
