SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL, 12 SEPT 2019.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived in the Car Park at exactly 6-30 pm; the Church bells rang for the half hour.
The clouds on the horizon took Beach Buoy's breath away.
He had never seen anything like it before.
He almost ran, with the emphasis on almost... down to the water's edge.
It was mild with a slight breeze from the north.

It was eerie.

It looked like they were at the edge of a storm but which way was it heading?

Well the answer came a moment later when the temperature dropped like a stone and a wind picked up in an instant.
Beach Buoy turned on the spot and rotated 180 degrees.... back to the van it was.
As they headed back, The Headland disappeared into a wall of silver.

They just about made it in time.

Stubborn Dog wasn't keen to head back but he understood as the rain bounced on the van roof and windows

The Sun came out as they left the Car Park.
Beach Buoy drove to the nearby by Church for a photograph.
He had to plump for one of the Churchyard as he couldn't get a good shot of the church.

At ground level the wind had all but stopped.
Up in sky the clouds whizzed by as if being dragged along by the storm that had gone south.
Later at HQ discussions took place at a heated editorial meeting.
Apparently he gets a bone per picture of him, that is used in the blog.
