SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 23 SEPT. 2019.

It was a Monday evening.
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog arrived at 6-10 pm on a  Mild Evening.
There was a light breeze from the South.
A couple with a push chair made their way up the access ramp, as their small child held onto her Dad whilst climbing the sloping ramp wall.
As she walked, she practised her new word.
"Sand!"

A lady with two dogs headed North.
A man with two other Dogs headed South, followed by a man with a Stubborn Dog and a blog to do.

Two Dog Man sat down at the Grey Rocks for a sit and think.
Or maybe it was  just a sly cigarette?

They reached the North Gare Pier just as Two Dog  Man stood up and left the Grey Rocks.

The Beach was almost empty, Beach Buoy felt a need to put up his hood. Not because it was cold; just for more own space.
He thought thoughts.....

The Sky is vast,
The Sea seems to on for ever,
The world is your Oyster,
Be a Pearl.

The wet sand mirrored the sky.
Its colours were fading and would soon be replaced
by a shade of Black ... called
Night Black.

Off to the van it was, as the darkness began to arrive.
Beach Buoy looked across the Bay to see The Headland Lighthouse flash a wink as it it was an old friend.
It is.

BEACH BUOY.
