1/24TH OF A DAY, ON A BEACH.....ON SEATON SANDS BEACH IN HARTLEPOOL 02 SEPT 2019.

It was 6-30 pm.
The Church Bells chimed as Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dod wandered onto the beach.
Two ladies were leaving the beach with four large bags.
Perhaps they had done a beach clean?
The wind was strong from the west, it carried the sound of the boy and girl racers acting their shoe size and not their age in the car park.
The wind also carried cargo; spots of rain.

Beach Buoy's beach app reckoned  that it was just about spot on high tide.

All in all its just another brick in the..... beach brick collection.
A Bonnybridge Brick ... if only it had been used to build a Bonny Bridge.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed South.
They went into a delve in the sand that lay behind a sandbank.

It was odd being lower than sea level, down by the sea.
The sea came over the bank.
It rushed down the slope.

Fingers of sea tried to prove the tide app wrong.....
still coming in.

They continued Southwards.
A Dog-less man was behind.
Beach Buoy stopped to jot a few lines in his note book.

"FINGERS OF SEA....."

The Dog-less man seemed to think his notes read.
"THE SUSPECT WAS WEARING A GREEN TOP."
at that the suspect... sorry The dog-less man headed up to the dunes.
Perhaps he was a goal keeper ? Beach Buoy thought.

A driftwood creature lay slain on the beach.

The poor thing.

They headed as far as the grey rocks.
They did a small beach clean and turned back.
The sky was a mucky mixture of colours.
Shades of grey and blue, like an Artist's palette who had tried and failed to capture a stormy scene.

The rain drops had stopped.
The wind was strong.
It was from the west and was increasing in speed as it lowered in temperature.

They walked up the ramp to leave the beach as the Church Bells struck for 7-30 pm
An hour had passed; an hour on the beach.
BEACH BUOY.
