SEATON SANDS, SATURDAY,14 SEPT. 2019

Beach Buoy had been to work.
It had been warm and sunny
It was 6-30 pm.
It was overcast and cooler.

It was a quiet beach.
They headed South alongside a rippled sea.
There was a fresh strong breeze from the west.
They crossed many mounds of shingle and seaweed as they walked.
Dried shreds of seaweed cartwheeled back to the sea with the help of the breeze.

Terns were travelling up and down the Bay, looking for supper; Sprats.
They would fall from the sky like failed paper aeroplanes.
Beach Buoy found a Sprat up in the shingle on the beach.

Some finds.
Like the Sprat, they were returned to the sea.

Somebody wasn't keen on heading back.
A Gull drifted in from the dunes, just gliding on the breeze.

The sun began to set.
As it did so, it put on a dramatic light show on the clouds.
