SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 29 SEPT 2019.

Shortly after posting the previous blog post, the rain calmed a little.
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog dashed to the Beach.

It was so late... 8-55am.
The tide was way out.
Spits and spots of rain fell.
The whole beach was covered in driftwood.
Beach Buoy presumed that the heavy rainfall had sent many twigs and branches down the River Tees and then out into the bay?

Driftwood Creature.

The Beach looked like the aftermath of a shipwreck.

Driftwood casualty.

Lots of nurdles along the Beach.
Beach Buoy found a white bucket which he used to do his beach clean.
He attached the bucket to his beach bag.
It sounded like a drum beating with every step as it hit against Beach Buoy's leg.

Beach Buoy reached the North Gare Pier and the rain came with a vengeance.
The Wind Turbines disappeared in the gloom.
The drum began to beat a little faster as they hurried back.
Beach Buoy's Jeans turned from pale blue to dark with all of the rainfall.
Two Cormorants flew over to the dunes.
It was raining so heavily they may have thought that they were swimming, not flying.
Beach Buoy went to collect a sit-on toy motorcycle for part of his beach clean.
The rain was bouncing.
Beach Buoy noticed some beach cleaners had arrived.

It turns out it was an official beach clean.
They had a flag flying for this group...

Beach Buoy added the motorcycle and his white bucket of  beach trash to their stack.

The motorcycle photograph is of poor quality as it was raining so much, the mobile phone was damp; Beach Buoy was damper.
