SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 3, APRIL 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived in the busy car park at 6-21 p.m.
It was a gloriously sunny evening.
There was a cooling breeze from the south.
Beach Buoy was wearing double orange
No hoods required tonight.

There was a clear sky
Vapour trails, like sports logos hung in the air in place of cloud.

An unusual vessel left the River.

Glass hearts are fragile.
Real ones are too.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached Stubborn Dog Stack.
It was 6-48 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy looked around.
The scene felt like the start of a summer's day rather than the end of a spring one.
Things felt hopeful.

People milled around.
An empty beach is a treasure but sharing this evening's with like-minded people was fine too.

"See you mate."

They returned to the beach.
They returned to the van.

The van kettle went on.
