SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 21, APRIL 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the
Beach car park at 6-21 p.m.

They headed down the beach access ramp.
Dune folk stood where Dune folk stand.
One tried to launch a toy aeroplane into the breeze that was blowing from the sea.
It crash landed almost immediately.

The tide was well in.
It made the narrow beach look busier than it was.

A hand-in-hand couple lead the way south.
The Gentleman was wearing  a desert style camouflage jacket.
At times, his top half almost disappeared.
Making it look like the lady was just taking a spare set of legs for a walk.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south.
Two hoods were up.

The couple had gone.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog still had company.
A dark grey sea and a light grey sky.
The water's edge and the strand-line were just a hop, skip and jump apart.
The Gulls that hung above the water's edge seemed happier over land than they were sea.

Some of the dune edge just north of the sandy slope had been claimed by the sea.

"Evening Mate."
It was 6-48 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Another Dog.

Beach Buoy drank coffee as he watched the sea.
"See you mate."

They returned to the beach.
Parts were dusted red.

They began to head back.

AN IMAGINED POST CARD FROM SEATON CAREW...

You'd love it here,
The Sea is wild,
Walking like,
A little child,
All your worries,
All your cares,
In that cupboard,
Beneath the stairs,
I'll be here,
And share my walk,
Sometimes silence,
The loudest talk.

P.S
Any Post?

Later that evening.....

Dogs behaving very badly was on T.V..
