SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 28, APRIL 2023.

Beach Buoy had been up since 1-25 a.m.

It had been a long day.

Even an early beach felt late.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
They crossed a sunny car park at 5-17 p.m.
They reached the beach.
The tide was way out.

There was a pleasant breeze off the sea.

The sea was the colour of summer after a few days looking like dirty washing machine water.

They began to walk southwards.
The beach was quiet.
It seemed to be that lull before the 6 p.m.
free parking kicks in?
A lady was walking her Labrador.
She was throwing a ball for her dog to chase.
She had 360 degrees at which to release the ball but for some reason it was forever heading towards Beach Buoy and Another Dog.

It was a glorious late afternoon.
A chorus of Skylarks sang over the dunes.
A man stood at the water's edge.
His hands were in his hips as he looked out to sea.
His two small dogs were sat waiting at his feet, eager to know his next move.
Out in the bay, the Wind Turbines turned.
At times they look so grey that they almost disappear.
This afternoon they glowed white as if freshly painted thanks to the brightness of the sun.

Beach Buoy and Another met a Twitter mate and his two wonderful dogs.
They had a lovely chat.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
The twitter mate headed to the water's edge.
They can be seen in the photograph above.
"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 6-16 p.m.
Beach Buoy watched the sky and sea.

"See you mate."
They headed back.
They bumped into a lovely puppy called Gwen.
A Dark brown head, a white tail with every gradual shade from one to the other along her body.

They headed back to the car park and beyond.
Shafts of light shone down like searchlights from a passing UFO.

BEACH BUOY.
