SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 02, APRIL 2023.

It was a lovely sunny but fresh evening.

Too nice not to have a second trip of the day to the beach.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog parked up at 6-42 p.m.

The van was as clean as a whistle.

It had just been washed and waxed.

As he was finishing the last buff of polish, someone stopped to ask if the van was for sale.

There was about just as many moons as there were clouds in the sky.
A family walked the water's edge with colourful buckets.
They may have had spades to match but the were too far away to confirm.

Silhouettes walked the heights of the dune edge.
It's a regular sight on the lighter nights.

The tide had been and gone again since this morning.
The blank canvas that it had left behind had been used to write stories of differing beach walks; footprints were footnotes.
Memories and memos.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
The sunlight spread across the dunes like butter on warm toast.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 7-09 p.m.
Beach Buoy soaked up the late sunlight.

"See you mate."
They went back to the beach.

As the headed for the van, the sunset and the car park, The German Shepherds Owners Club appeared.

They headed off with barking dogs, the owners all dressed in hi-viz jackets.

Beach Buoy would call them lime green coats, others say yellow
