Beach Buoy made two thermal mugs of coffee.
One for the stack.
One for the van, post walk.
Doughnuts may have been involved too
Beach Buoy and Another Dog drove to the beach.
They arrived at 6-08 a.m.
Beach Buoy was somewhat surprised that the car park was empty.
The headed for the beach.
It was overcast, mild with a slight breeze from the south west.
They headed south.
A two man 7 a.m. club led the way.
As usual Beach Buoy dawdled along.
In time the 7 a m. club were returning to the north.
They chatted.
Mari the big friendly poodle buried her head in between Beach Buoy's knees as he fussed over the dog.
"She's not like that with anyone else.
She loves you."
" I love her too."
They all went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog went to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat with a coffee, looking out to sea.
Skylarks sang them a song.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the van.
The tide was well in.
They walked an ever changing water's edge.
Once back at the van, it was another coffee as Beach Buoy watch the Promenade people.
Two men that looked like one another's reflection passed each other, nodding as they did so.
Rita, the meter maid walked her walk alone.
The dog in a Mick Aston jumper trotted alongside it's owner.
BEACH BUOY.
