SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 13, APRIL, 2023.

Thursday
13-04-23.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach access ramp at 6-30 a.m.

The tide was just about more in than it was out.
It was an overcast start to the day.
Chill in the air.
A light breeze blew from the west.

A young couple walked to the strand-line.
Team Distant Wave and the 7 a.m. club were up ahead to the south .
The young couple headed to the dunes, hand in hand.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south.
The 7 a.m. club headed back north.
"Morning."
"Morning."
exchanged across a distance with a half distant wave thrown in for good measure.

Team Distant Wave passed at a distance.
Waves were exchanged.
" Morning Paul."

The sun broke through.

Footprints.

6-54 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Skylarks sang.
Their song rang out to sea.
Beach Buoy watched the little birds.
They hovered like helicopters before falling like a downed plane.
He drank coffee.
A Pheasant called from the dunes.
It sounded like a very old car horn, gone rusty.

A lady jogger ran south on the water's edge.
The sea plotted her route.

A lady with four large dogs walked between the dune edge and the grey rocks.
The man with a rucksack and Rottweiler headed north.

Team Muzzled Dog came along.
They had a longer than usual chat.
In a good way.

Beach Buoy returned to the van.

He watched Promenade People.

Rain came.

BEACH BUOY.
