Beach Buoy with Another Dog as a passenger headed for Seaham.
Table for one, with Another Dog on a knee, for a late breakfast at the Marina.
The headed to Noses Point.
He parked the van in a cluster of large Motorhomes.
The whole area seemed quite busy with people of a certain age.
They headed down the slippery slope to
The Blast Beach.
It was another hot September day.
They sat a while to rest.
They had been up since daft o'clock after all.
Beach Buoy had bought a new book for on-the-go beach notes.
People were few and
faaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrr between.
Location, Location, Location.
The beach access isn't easy.
There is the slippery slope to the north end
Alternatively the are The Frenchman's steps opposite the large Stack.
They headed back to the slippery slope.
They were hotter than the hot tea that Beach Buoy had made.
Some of the Motorhome owners were sat outside their vehicles, around a table drinking tea.
One of the group, a lady, seemed to holding court, telling of holidays that she had had.
BEACH BUOY.

Lovely to see another part of your beautiful coast. Frenchman’s Steps is an interesting name. There must be a story.
ReplyDeleteNot sure of the tale.
ReplyDeleteAs an aside , the did use The Blast Beach when filming Alien 3
Last visited Seaham about 8 years ago. Keep saying I'm going for another day and then never seem to get around to going. My Dad spent the war years, there whilst his Dad was in the army. His Mam took him and his brother to Seaham to live with her parents.
ReplyDeleteDOWN BY THE MARINA HAS CHANGED A LOT AND IS WELL WORTH A VISIT.
