It was another day off.
Beach Buoy took a workmate to work, he needed a lift in.
He spun 180
degrees and headed for the beach.
He and Another Dog reached the car park at 6-37 a.m.
The tide was slightly more in than out.
Beach Buoy noticed that
The Seaton Carew Wreck
was looking very exposed.
Others headed south.
Beach Buoy decided to give the wreck a closer look.
It was a very mild morning.
Beach Buoy had never seen the wreck so visible.
He tweeted the image.
It has ended up being the most-liked of his tweets ever.
At time of writing
it has had 2196 "Likes."
Tees Archaeology have asked if they can use the image.
Of course they can.
The sunrise was not on show this morning.
This piece of P & O Pottery was a great second best.
Two Sand Martins flew by.
It warmed Beach Buoy's heart.
He thought that they had all gone.
It felt like the start of summer for a few seconds, not the end....
They headed south.
A fragmented 7 a.m. club walked the strand line.
"Morning Paul!"
Beach Buoy raised an arm.
"Morning."
Moments later....
"See you Paul."
Beach Buoy waved once more.
It was good to see Chocolate Pudding on the beach once more.
it had been a while since she and her owner had been seen.
The 7 a.m. club headed north....
Beach Buoy headed for
Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
he added beach stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He pushed his fingers into the sand , to be that bit closer as he does at times.
He misses Stubborn Dog.
Beach Buoy watched the sea.
Another Dog watched a Crow.
"See you later Mate."
they headed off back to the beach.
A jogger with a jogging Dog jogged along the water's edge.
They passed a lady knee-deep in sea water and Labradors.
The real sun showed up.
It was going to be a glorious day.
About a dozen Oyster Catchers flew overhead, out to sea.
They seemed to be having a loudest whistle competition?
Beach Buoy recorded the
Bits and Bobs.
Beach Buoy borrowed Borrowed Dog and headed for Hartlepool Headland with Another Dog in tow.
An early Fish and Chip lunch for one with a lovely view.
The Headland Promenade.
Full of Fish and Chips, they went for a short walk.
Andy Capp is a Hartlepool Lad.
There was artwork down on The Pilot Pier.
"Here Boy!"
St. Hilda's Church.
Stunning.
They headed to the beach.
They had a sit and think.
The sun was blazing.
They headed back to the van for a drink.

Later that day.
6-20 p.m to be precise,
Beach Buoy and Another Dog were back on the beach.
It was too nice to be inside.
Squeeze that daylight dry.
Treasure every drop.
A Running Club were gathered in the car park.
They all chatted loudly.
The Top Dog whistled louder than twelve Oyster Catchers to attract their attention.
He bellowed this evening's course.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south; they knew their route well enough.
A Grey-haired man
walked
a
Black-haired Greyhound.
The Dog's face was turning Grey.
Bunny chasing days were over for both of them.
A couple stood at
The Seaton Carew Wreck.
They gave the ancient timbers a good coat of looking at.
The sun slipped behind some clouds to put its jim-jams on.
It was the beginning of the end of the day.
They headed up to
Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
"Evening Mate."
he patted
THE
stone.
A teenage couple were nearby on the dune edge.
They were vocal.
Loud words, over-exaggerated reactions as teenagers can sometimes do.
"See you mate,
Love you."
Beach Buoy headed back to the beach.
Others headed North too.
Coffee in the van time.
BEACH BUOY.
