DOWN IN THE DUMPS AT THE DUMP. 18 SEPT 2021.

It was the first day of a week off.
Beach Buoy was a bit down in the dumps.
It was either go hide in bed or keep mobile.
Moving targets are harder to hit, so he headed out on his bike.
He had planned for him and Another Dog to head up to Northumberland in the van for a few days.
He hadn't got his act together and it felt like things were slipping away.

He headed for a spot that over-looked Seaton Carew.
He had never been before.
It used to be a council tip.

The view was fantastic.

The breeze off the sea matched the view.

The area on top was vast.

It would make a great site for camper vans and the like to stop over.

Beach Buoy unwound.

To the North is the only section remaining of The Steelworks Footbridge.

He was told once that it was the longest footbridge in England, not anymore.

He had walked the old bridge a few times as a child. It was a covered footbridge back then, that lead to the sea front.

Like a passage-way to another world; a beach world.

A couple came up to the grassy mound.

That was fine.

They ate their fast food.

That was fine.

They launched the drone.....

Time to go.

Beach Buoy part walked / part cycled.

A bridge that many cross without even knowing.

The sea made waves inland.

The tide was high.

Beach Buoy rested on a sea front bench like an old man.....
BEACH BUOY.
