SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 04, JUNE, 2023.

Monday evening.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-25 p.m.
The tide was well in
It was overcast.
A number of families were packing up to go.
A man struggled as he tried to unpop a pop-up tent and fit it back into it's bag.

They began to head south.
They were around halfway to Stubborn Dog Stack when a group of ladies ran from dune to sea, screaming as they ran.
They screamed even louder once in the chilly sea.

The Sun came out.
The tide edged out.
Soon the beach behind them was silent, the beach ahead deserted.

They went to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy watched the sea a while.
He listened to the sound of the bay.

"See you mate."

As they left the stack, a man was by the sea taking beach photos of his dog.

They returned to the beach.
They had their usual slow walk back.

Swimmers left the sea, heading to a big yellow bag of clothes.

By the time that they were about to head for the access ramp, the beach was fairly quiet.
A group of new arrivals paused to chat.
