SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 19, JUNE, 2023

Monday evening, Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached a hot and sunny beach at Bob o'clock,

8-08 p.m.

The song "Young hearts run free." blasted out from a car radio.

By the time the village church bells rang for

8-15, Beach Buoy and Another Dog were almost by the sea.

They headed south.

Sunshine shadows led the way.
There were people on sand, people in sea and picnicked on the dune edge.

The tide was a good way out.
There was a welcome westerly breeze.

As they headed up the Sandy Slope, four low-level Sand Martins

8-43 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was hot.
As hot as a summer morning.

"See you mate."
The returned to the beach.

They began a slow walk back.

The reflected light on the wet sand was gorgeous.

A couple sat with their backs against a dune edge making promises and memories.

A Little Tern dropped to the sea.
It seemed to kiss it goodnight and then was gone.

The pinky-promise couple overtook Beach Buoy.
The smell of their deodorant passed by shortly afterwards.

Bells rang for 9-15 p.m.

The Sun was still up.

BEACH BUOY.
