SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 29, JULY 2023.

 Thursday.

A day off.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.

They set off at 5-15 a.m.

Two Gulls on a nearby rooftop seemed to cheer loudly?

It was a mild morning with little or no breeze.

As they walked, Beach Buoy could see the sun was well up but hiding behind faint clouds.

They reached Tees Road, a line of six 'til two workers headed towards the river.

They reached the clock tower at 5-29.
The incorrect clock showed 10-09.
A.m or p.m. there is no way of knowing.
They crossed the car park as overnight
H.G.Vs became to wake.

As they headed down the access ramp, a lady in a light blue coat ended her promenade walking.
She set off across the car park.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog finally reached the beach.
The tide was well out.

A man and dog walked the water's edge southwards.
Another pairing walked south too.
The strand-line their chosen path.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the sloping beach
It looked as if shingle had been dropped of in regular-sized piles at regular intervals.
There's always a chance of finds with shingle.

Sea pottery.
FRESh cream?
LOW farm?
ASPATria?
The strand line man and dog overtook a dawdling Beach Buoy.
The man was constantly looking at his phone
His playful dog had a ball.
It was almost throwing it for itself as if trying to encourage it's owner to participate?
Back to the north, the water edge pair had already began to return to the north.

Beach pools reflected the pale sun beautifully.

Beach Buoy paused.
He often does.
He sipped coffee.
He often does.
A dead jellyfish laid nearby like a splash of rainbow paint.
He watched as a red ship left the river mouth.

They made their way to the sandy slope.
A drunken path of shells and seacoal showed the route.

6-16 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones."
He patted
 THE
 stone.

Beach Buoy sat on a large stack stone.
He drank coffee as he noted;
29 , June, 2023.
The Skylarks still sang.

Out of nowhere Hugo appeared.
Beach Buoy rose to welcome the big friendly rescue dog.
He gave the dog a shoulder rub and enquired if he had been in the sea?
The big dog wagged it's tail.
Beach Buoy took that as a yes.
The dog bounded down onto the beach below, catching up with team Distant Wave.
Distant waves were shared.

Team Distant Wave and the 7 a.m. club became one.

Beach Buoy walked the dunes for a short while.

He returned to the beach as three headed southwards.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the walk back.

BEACH BUOY.
