Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 5-57 a.m.
Thd sun was already up
The sun was already hidden by cloud.
The place where the folding chair ladies were sat, the night before was spotless.
There had been around twenty ladies ladies sat chatting.
No one spot of litter.
Well done.
Down at the water's edge, Mari, the big friendly poodle was heading south.
Her group were way back to the north.
She often wanders on beach and dune, away from the rest.
A free spirit.
If a dog could be a hippie , that dog would be Mari.
Out in the bay, on the horizon, rays of sunlight seemed to touch sea.
A man with a dog came onto the beach, then headed north.
Another man with a dog came onto the beach, then headed north.
By the time Beach Buoy had dawdled to the strand-line, the 7 a m. club had gone by at a distance, heading south.
It was quite mild.
There was a slight breeze off the sea.
A man in black shorts took bookface type photos of his small dog.
The 7 a.m. club came by on their way back to the village.
"Morning Paul!"
"Morning."
They went their own ways, not stopping to chat today.
Every now and then a band of sunlight would scan the beach like a barcode .
"Wet spillage in aisle two!"
"That's the Sea, it's meant to be there."
Skylarks sang over the dunes.
Two Pebbles with Legs scampered across the wet sand near to the water's edge.
6-40 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on a stack stone and drank coffee.
Another Dog kicked sand back to dig a hole.
She sat in it.
Beach Buoy watched as a Tug came out of the river. It paused ready to guide an approaching Ship into Port.
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach as the ship travelled down the river.
They had their usual slow walk back.
Team Muzzled Dog headed south
"Morning."
"Hiya."
Mr Gunn/ Nunn passed by with his lovely little dog Alfie.
They had a grand chat.
Mr.Gunn/Nunn has nine more days at work before retirement.
They went their separate ways.
Coffee and a spotty toasted tea cake in the van.
A cycling couple stopped at the bench at the top of access ramp.
A flask of tea appeared from a backpack.
Inspired, Beach Buoy went and drank tea.
Well..... he went out in his bike, along the
Promenade.
The Bus Station Shelter.
He cycled to the north end of the Promenade.
It looked like a vessel was dredging the channel into the marina?
The "Catch."
The Bike.
BEACH BUOY.
