03 JUNE, 2023. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Saturday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for the sunrise.

As he drove by the Golf Club, Beach Buoy noticed a large pile of sand had been delivered.  The mound looked like an upside down bunker.

They arrived at the car park at 4-29 a.m.

Sunrise was 4-34.

The air was still, it had a chill to it.

The type of chill you would welcome with open arms after a muggy night at the height of summer.

It wasn't cold but Beach Buoy pulled up three hoods as they walked to the water's edge.

The tide was well in.

They began to head south.

The sunrise took place behind low cloud.
Beach Buoy stuffed chilled hands into pockets.
They ambled southwards, regularly check the status of the Sun's progress.

It partially clear the cloud.
Back of the seafront a lone window reflected the glow.

It's always surprising just how quickly the Sun moves away from the horizon and then across the sky.

The headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

Someone had chalked on a stack stone.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 5-02 a.m.

The view North from Stubborn Dog Stack.
It was all quiet on the beach below.

No stack coffee today.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.

Clouds made a grab for the Sun.

Slow walk back.
Skylarks sang.
Little Terns chattered.
Beach Buoy sighed.
The early morning Sun highlighted the seafront like an important part of a written speech.
They walked to the access ramp.

A Crow stood guard like a nightclub bouncer, waiting to check I.D.

Beach Buoy relaxed in the van
He nodded, he had only had an hour's sleep.

Beachgoers came and went.
Some noticed some not .

Later .....

Breakfast in Gelato's.

Then another look at the beach.
A distant treasure hunt takes place.

A couple head for the sea.

BEACH BUOY.
