9, JUNE, 2023. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-20 p.m.
It had been a sunny afternoon but it had become overcast.
There was a fresh breeze from the east.
A large group of ladies sat on unfolded folding chairs in a circle at the north end of the dune.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
Others led the way.

There was a strange man in a red hat.

Beach Buoy found a perfect stone for Stubborn Dog Stack.

7-53 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added the heart stone and others to the stack.
He patted
THE
stone.

Another Dog.
She's gorgeous.
Like Stubborn Dog,  she is such a character.
A very different character.
Her own character.
Beach Buoy sat to drink a coffee.
Another Dog found a comfortable hole to lie in.

Beach Buoy sat watching the sea.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy stood to return to the beach, then begin heading north.
As he did so, two young ladies who had set up camp between Stubborn Dog Stack and Camp Distant Wave.
He waited up at Stubborn Dog Stack.
Let them walk back on their own beach.

Eventually Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back
An odd but friendly-looking couple sat on a driftwood bench.
They had a beach fire nearby.
A youngster walked the strand-line, gathering driftwood to feed the fire.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued north.
Behind them, an elderly man with an elderly greyhound left the dunes for the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the promenade.
The folding chair ladies were still sat chatting.

Four young lads walked down the access ramp.
Two wore bucket hats.
One carried a surf board.

BEACH BUOY.
