Beach Buoy and Another Dog
arrived in the beach car park at
8-25 p.m.
It was a packed car park.
A warm breeze blew.
A family sat with colourful but unnecessary windbreaks.
Toddlers riddled to the sea, way past their bedtime.
The tide was going out.
They headed south.
It was cooler down by the water's edge.
A bright red ship left the river.
Nearby, the Sea Serpent took some air before bed.
The man who walks miles and miles but doesn't always get a blog mention, walked some more.
The man usually looks like he is a world of his own.
Beach Buoy was surprised to see him stop to ost a small friendly dog.
A fish jumped clear of the sea before plopping back into it with a splash.
Another red ship left the river.
"Evening Mate."
It was 9 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
H patted
THE
stone.
The sunlight was stunning.
They went back to the beach.
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy said "Goodnight." to the Sea Serpent.
The Sea Serpent said "Goodnight "too.
A lady walked into the sea purposely as she took photographs.
The sea and the sky were almost as one.
Up ahead, people carried their shoes.
BEACH BUOY.
