Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at 7-15 p.m.
A few brightly coloured sporty types were on the Promenade.
They pushed against walls, lamp posts and unoccupied benches.
Beach Buoy wasn't sure if they were warming up or down?
A brightly coloured Beach Buoy headed down the access ramp and onto the beach.
It was overcast with a fresh breeze off the east.
They wandered down to the water's edge.
A lady alone but not lonely headed north.
A brightly coloured not Beach Buoy headed to the beach access ramp.
To the south a couple walked by the sea.
A hooded black figure on the dune edge, walked monk-like to the sea, standing in it ankle deep.
The figure headed off towards the car park.
The lone but not lonely lady headed to the village.
The tide was high.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south.
Beach Buoy paused to look out to sea as he so often does.
He stood with his hands in his jeans pockets and head deep in thought.
He watched simple things.
The sea rise and fall.
The clouds drift from east to west.
Birds flying by.
Everywhere, everyone should be this calm.
Beach Buoy avoids the news as much as he can.
It can bring you so down.
The world could be so much better for so many more people.
Beach Buoy blames world "leaders." and corrupt politicians from all sides, all countries.
Hang your heads in shame.
Beach Buoy climbed down from his high horse before heading to Stubborn Dog Stack.
It was 7-51 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He watched as a ship, as grey as the sea and sky left the River.
A man with a bald brown head and a matching coloured dog headed north on the beach below.
Beach Buoy had a look to the north from the vantage point that the stack and surrounding dunes offered.
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog dropped back down into the beach, dawdling their way back to the van.
BEACH BUOY.
