SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

Low tide - plenty of space for all.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 29, JULY 2023.

 Thursday.

A day off.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.

They set off at 5-15 a.m.

Two Gulls on a nearby rooftop seemed to cheer loudly?

It was a mild morning with little or no breeze.

As they walked, Beach Buoy could see the sun was well up but hiding behind faint clouds.

They reached Tees Road, a line of six 'til two workers headed towards the river.

They reached the clock tower at 5-29.
The incorrect clock showed 10-09.
A.m or p.m. there is no way of knowing.
They crossed the car park as overnight
H.G.Vs became to wake.

As they headed down the access ramp, a lady in a light blue coat ended her promenade walking.
She set off across the car park.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog finally reached the beach.
The tide was well out.

A man and dog walked the water's edge southwards.
Another pairing walked south too.
The strand-line their chosen path.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the sloping beach
It looked as if shingle had been dropped of in regular-sized piles at regular intervals.
There's always a chance of finds with shingle.

Sea pottery.
FRESh cream?
LOW farm?
ASPATria?
The strand line man and dog overtook a dawdling Beach Buoy.
The man was constantly looking at his phone
His playful dog had a ball.
It was almost throwing it for itself as if trying to encourage it's owner to participate?
Back to the north, the water edge pair had already began to return to the north.

Beach pools reflected the pale sun beautifully.

Beach Buoy paused.
He often does.
He sipped coffee.
He often does.
A dead jellyfish laid nearby like a splash of rainbow paint.
He watched as a red ship left the river mouth.

They made their way to the sandy slope.
A drunken path of shells and seacoal showed the route.

6-16 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones."
He patted
 THE
 stone.

Beach Buoy sat on a large stack stone.
He drank coffee as he noted;
29 , June, 2023.
The Skylarks still sang.

Out of nowhere Hugo appeared.
Beach Buoy rose to welcome the big friendly rescue dog.
He gave the dog a shoulder rub and enquired if he had been in the sea?
The big dog wagged it's tail.
Beach Buoy took that as a yes.
The dog bounded down onto the beach below, catching up with team Distant Wave.
Distant waves were shared.

Team Distant Wave and the 7 a.m. club became one.

Beach Buoy walked the dunes for a short while.

He returned to the beach as three headed southwards.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the walk back.

When beach yoga looks like a distant wave.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 27 JUNE 2023.

Tuesday.
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach at around 7-22 but p.m.
It had been raining.
It was overcast with a warm breeze.
Random spots of rain seemingly reluctant to reach the sand, hung in the air.
Beachgoers were few and far between.

The three headed south.
The tide way way out.
Little Terns crossed the beach, heading for the nest site with their catch.
Someone called Rowley has written their name in the sand.

Swirls of sand.
Swirls of cloud.

They headed towards the Sandy Slope.
Up the Slope then the short dune walk to Stubborn Dog Stack.

There was a newcomer to the stack.
"Hello Charlie Boy." as he patted the brightly-painted new addition.
All are welcome.

"Evening Mate."
It was 7-52.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy turned 360 degrees.
It was peaceful.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
They headed north along the water's edge.

Rain began to fall.
Not heavy , but rain it was.
There wasn't a soul in sight.

Towards the end of their walk, others arrived.
Room for all this evening.

VAN. TEA WITH A VIEW.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SNOOKS TEA ROOM OUT AND ABOUT CARD.

MAKING NOTES- SKYLARKS STILL SINGING.

BEACH BUOY.

SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 25, JUNE 2023.

It was after midnight when Beach Buoy went to bed.

He woke at 1-20.

He woke at 3.

He laid and laid.

He was going to go for Sunrise but dawdled.

He came down about sunrise time.

He made a flask of coffee.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the car park at 4-57 a.m.

They weren't the first.

It looked like the tide was well out.
A young couple dried and dressed near the dunes after a sunrise swim.

A Mother and two young kids went to claim the sea.
Joyful screeches filled the air as they entered the water.

The tide was well out.
The bay glowed orange.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south near the strand-line.
Team Distant Wave were heading north down by the sea.
Distant waves were exchanged.
They were the only waves around as the sea was calm.

Beach Buoy walked and paused, he paused and walked.

Beach Buoy walked down to the water's edge.
The sun was shielded by cloud.
It was already hot.
The Sea Serpent warmed himself on the surface.
Once more, a fish jumped clear of the sea.

A random beam of bright sunlight lit up the sea front houses.

The stream of Little Terns was constant.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 5-37 a.m.
Beach Buoy sat in a stack stone, drinking coffee.

The coffee view was splendid.

Another Dog sat in her own little world for a while.

After a twenty minute sit and think, Beach Buoy stood up.
"See you mate."
They headed north, back to the sandy slope

Some of the dune grasses had seed heads.
They looked dramatic.
Clouds behind seemed to carry the theme on ?

They returned to the beach.

Hugo's paw prints from earlier seemed to run into the sea.
The tide was claiming them step by step.

They clung to the water's edge.
Up ahead, the 7 a m. Club cut short their walk, heading back north earlier than usual.

Beach Buoy made a note.
25/6/23.
Skylarks still sang.

Beach Buoy went up to the dune edge to do a beach clean.

BEACH BUOY.

24, JUNE, 2023. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at an empty car park at 5-29 a.m.

Moments later, the 4x4 Border Collie Couple parked up near the dunes before quickly heading for the sea.

They and their two dogs headed south by the water's edge.

Some prat has removed some of the cones and rope that was put in place to give the Little Terns some extra peace from people leaning on the Promenade wall.

Beach Buoy replaced what he could.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog went down the beach access ramp

It was mild, overcast with a light breeze.

Upon reaching the water's edge, Beach Buoy checked to the north.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
The 4x4 couple reached the grey rocks before turning for a dune route back to their vehicle.

The southern end of the beach was theirs now.
Well theirs and the seashore wildlife.
A seal bobbed up now and then as it crossed the bay from north to south.
Then there was the constant stream of Busy Little Terns, going to and from the nest site.
It was delightful to have them alongside.

The sea lapped gently like a lakeside.

The curve of the water's edge pleased Beach Buoy.
He would have to bear it in mind when doing his daft drawings.

The Sea Serpent surfaced from time to time.

Another Little Tern returns with its catch to the nest site.

Two more head out for breakfast.

"Morning Mate."
It was 6-15 a.m.
Beach Buoy plonked himself down on Stubborn Dog Stack.
He drank coffee as he savoured the bending of the dune grass in the breeze, the ripples on and lapping of a gentle incoming tide.

He watched the almost synchronised turbines turned in the bay.
A one man 7 a.m. club walked as far as the grey rocks on the beach below. The height of the tide would let him go no further on the beach.
He hiked up his pants and returned northwards.
He hadn't seen Beach Buoy up at the stack.
His dog, Mari had, she came to say hello.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of her, as he always does.
She seemed to look a little thin?
Beach Buoy hoped that she was ok.

A man, a stranger to Beach Buoy crossed directly In front of a seated Beach Buoy.
He had a grey and white dog.
"Morning." said Beach Buoy brightly.
The man chose only to speak to his dog.

A Sand Martin zipped by at eye level.

"Dr.Doolittle" headed north.

Beach Buoy rose from the stack as he made the obligatory old man noises.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.

A lady headed south on the water's edge with her dog.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed away from the sea to let them enjoy the space.

The Beachcombing Border Collie couple headed south next.

Beach Buoy headed to the access ramp.
On the way he picked up some more discarded bottles.
As he put them in his beach bag the breeze blew down on the angled bottle neck. They sounded like tiny captured foghorns.
At the access ramp they met Team Muzzled Dog
They all greeted one another.

Then it was back to the van.
Rita the meter maid was on her chosen route.

Water for Another Dog.
A milky coffee for Beach Buoy.

The sun escaped the clouds.

Beach Buoy.
