at 5-42 a.m.
A Tanker and a HGV were parked up.
Both still had curtains around their cab windows.
A man with a bald head and two dogs crossed the car park.
They cut through a gap in the wall into the dunes as if it were a secret portal.
The Rucksack and Rottweiler man joined the beach.
They chatted
Little Terns and Sand Martins the topics of conversation.
The man took his rucksack and Rottweiler to the sea.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked slowly along to the south.
Sea Pottery.
A shaft of light appeared.
The ones mermaids descend when they come to visit the Sea Serpent.
Skylarks sang sweetly.
They bring so much joy when they arrive, so much sadness when they leave.
They are the first of the spring/ summer visitors to leave
Just go.

6-18 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted

He sat and watched the Rottweiler play in the sea.
The water's edge players headed back.
Beach Buoy watched as Tugs came out of the river.
A river-bound ship came into view.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach.
"See you mate."
The 7 a.m. club came along.
Beach Buoy greeted Mari the big friendly poodle and Myrtle her little white side-kick.
The humans chatted the dogs sniffed.
Beach Buoy carried on towards Sand Martin Corner.
A photographer was up ahead.
A red coat and a tripod.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the north.
The slow walk back was strictly for the birds.
The Gulls stood at the water's edge, arguing.
A Sand Martin that had ventured away from the dune edge.
The Crow, hopping along the strand-line in search of misplaced cat treats.
The Little Terns that chattered.
The Skylarks up above the dunes playing the musical soundtrack to the cast below.
