Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp at 7 p.m.
It was a mild and overcast evening.
There was hardly a breeze.
They passed the driftwood sculpture.
Dune folk lined the dune edge as if it were a trap.
They headed south as a Milky Sun tried to break through the clouds.
The tide was well out.
A couple with two Border walked the Water's edge.
One of the Dogs looked as if was rounding the other up as it would sheep.
7-12, the sun broke through.
Their sunshine shadows joined them on the beach.
A rusty sounding pheasant creaked from just beyond the dune edge.
A couple sat on a driftwood stump.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
7-32.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on a stack stone
Down on the beach a lady headed south.
She was a regular.
Her two dogs waited for her to catch up.
Beach Buoy watched the sea and sky
Another Dog sat contently in a small dip in the dune sand.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the beach.
They had a slow walk back.
