SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 06, MAY, 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the empty beach car park at 5-28 a.m.
Beach stepped out of the van.
He said " Oh my God." out loud.
The combined sunrise and mist just looked beautiful.
Otherworldly.

The sea was rough but the day so calm.
Waves were breaking six or seven steps out
Hazy  Lazy Gulls hung in the air.
The Headland and the Bay's Wind Turbines had been claimed by the golden mist.

Out of nowhere Hugo appeared.
He's a lovely dog.
Beach Buoy gave him a warm welcome.
Team Distant Wave came along.
They chatted briefly about how glorious the light was.

It was one of the most beautiful mornings that Beach Buoy could recall.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog just stood, looking.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog began to head south.

The whole Bay was gorgeous.

So very peaceful.

The man with a Rucksack and a Rottweiler played with his dog at the water's edge.

Time to sit and think.

They sat on the dune edge and thought.

The 7 a.m. club approached.
"Morning."
"Morning."
They chatted for a while.
They went their separate ways.

The Sun had gone after a 20 minutes show.
That light was locked in Beach Buoy's memory.
It will be like a secret hand warmer on a future winter's day.

Beach Buoy paused before heading to Stubborn Dog Stack.
There was an unknown figure up at the stack.

"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He watched as the unknown figure headed north.

In time...
"See you mate."

Back down the Sandy Slope to the beach below.

A slow walk back.

The Very Very Wet Retriever and it's owner said hello as they overtook them.

Beach Buoy sat in the van a while.

Mr.Gunn/Nunn arrived.
Team Muzzled Dog arrived.

Beach Buoy left.

BEACH BUOY.
