Beach Buoy arrived at the beach alone.
Another Dog was having a sleep.
She made it clear that she was not keen to be going out so early.
It was 5-40 a.m. when Beach Buoy arrived alone.
There was the lightest of breezes off the sea.
He headed for the sea as a light breeze blew off it.
He paused to photograph a driftwood sculpture.
The Sun had already been claimed by low cloud.
The beach belonged to Beach Buoy, not a soul in sight.
He wandered to the water's edge.
The clouds looked like the underbelly of a giant reptile, passing overhead.
He went south along the strand line.
6-09 a m.
"Morning Mate."
He added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He watched the sea as he drank coffee.
Gulls and time drifted by.
The stack was a lovely place to be.
Eventually he made a move.
"See you mate."
He returned to the beach.
Once on beach he continued south along the grey rocks.
The 7 a.m. club were heading south too.
Beach Buoy passed camp Distant Wave.
He went as far as the Tank Traps.
He turned to head back to the north.
The 7 a.m. club had caught him up.
They chatted a while.
The 7 a.m. club headed back to the north.
Beach Buoy dawdled.
The sun had gone .
The sky was full of wonderful twists and turns of various shades of grey.
Beach Buoy stopped at the driftwood sculpture to chat to Mr.Gunn/Nunn.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy walked to the access ramp.
A lady with a brown and a black Labrador headed to the sea.
Beach Buoy rested on the Promenade wall
He made beach notes.
He drank coffee.
BEACH BUOY.
