They headed down to a point about midway between the strand-line and the water's edge.
A man was down at the water's with his four dogs, each a differing breed.
Three of the dogs came over to say hello.
The tide was well out.
Gulls manned the Seaton Carew Wreck.
They headed south.
A family did likewise up on the dune edge.
Beach Buoy and the dogs wandered almost aimlessly.
Almost, because they were heading for one particular spot; Stubborn Dog Stack.
There was a breeze from the south west that intine would become a wind.
Out in the bay three distant dots crossed the bay from south to north ; Kayakers.
The three climbed the sandy slope, up to Stubborn Dog Stack.

Two ladies and their dogs searched the shingle just in front of the stack.
They headed back.
Out in the Bay seven yachts all leaned at the same angle
The light would soon be gone.
North of the
beach, people would just dots.
They continued North.
It was almost time for the yachts to head back to Hartlepool Marina
BEACH BUOY.
