SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 05,SEPT. 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach at 6-12 p.m.

Earlier the day had seen almost biblical rainfall.

Now it was sunny and mild.

A lady rested on the promenade wall drinking coffee.

A young family with a Labrador pup led the way down the access ramp.

🔼

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the strand-line on the mildest of evenings.

The young family headed for the sea.

The Labrador went into the sea.

Joggers had headed south.

The joggers began to return to the north.

Joggers and dogs followed behind.

                      And more.

It was the Tuesday evening running club.

A mixture of spray and mist clouded the water's edge.

They headed south.

The sand had been rain-popped by the heavy downpour early

"Evening Mate."

Beach Buoy added some beach stones.

He patted

THE

stone.

Some of the painted stones had been scattered

Beach Buoy replaced those that he could find.

Why do people go to the bother of throwing them away?

"See you mate."

They went down to the beach.

The unmistakable sound of Little Terns passed overhead, heading due south.

They called to one another as if for reassurance?

These birds were from further north.

Just passing through.

To them Seaton Carew was south.

It was sad but beautiful too.

Beach Buoy fiddled with settings on his mobile phones's camera.

Another Dog came in to view.

They headed back north .

Beach Buoy made shapes out of the clouds.

A striped cat on the horizon.

A witch.

A man with a beard .

A Marlin.

The wind  turbines looked freshly painted.m, in the fading light to the south.

They began a slow walk back.

The south looked dark and threatening

The north was just a late summer evening.

Two Surfers headed back to the car park.

BEACH BUOY.
